My littlest boy, Jack, is two today. We begin a few days of celebrating and therefore I get out the old favourite birthday cake recipe again and have put it on my new site to share with you. I'm taking one off to the creche soon to try it out with a bunch of toddlers!

This is a wonderful moment to see how our little fella has changed and grown and how our family has changed with his presence. Thanks Jack for all you bring us every day.

For me I have also taken a moment to remember Jack's arrival in this world... one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Shortly afterwards I wrote the story of his birth as I felt it is important between women to share the joy and the naturalness of childbirth and not just the pain and medical process. So grateful for you Jack, for your big brother and for our family - our journey to get here was not always an easy one, but that is what makes the here and now even more special....
