There are so many different ways to make a green smoothie - just dare to go for it and your breakfasts will be changed forever!
Here is my basic recipe - but I change the fruit and the greens for whatever is seasonal. Make sure you put in water and I always like some nuts or seeds too (brazil, pecan, coconut, hemp, chia, sunflower)... experiment and have fun discovering your tastes.
For greens you can use kale, spinach, pak choy, chard... or use a powder like spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass....
Ingredients (serves 3)
1 banana
1 pear - not peeled
1 kiwi
dessert spoon linseeds or chia seeds or both
1 date (optional)
spoon of goji berries (optional)
4 brazil nuts (not in picture)
2 stalks of kale (don't use tough part of stem) or equivalent spinach or pak choy or....
glass and half of cold water
Directions - put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth...
