Letting the kids make their own dinner is always a messy and fun affair.... it had been a long time since we had made pizza and I had found some new pizza bases that looked fine. By the way if anyone has a good whole food pizza base recipe to share... let me know!
But we don't always have the time to make from scratch and this was a tasty option... all the ingredients I recognise and produced in Italy ;-)
A layer of olive oil spread across the top, a layer of tomato sauce and then cherry tomatoes, organic mozzarella, red peppers, olives, pesto.... all on offer to decorate as they pleased...
The hardest bit was having the patience to wait as they went in the oven!
Jack didn't finish all of his so wanted it in his lunchbox today... so there is another school lunch idea!
And for the chips.... well kale chips of course! ;-)... a lovely crispy accompaniment!!
Easy, quick, healthy dinner for little (and big) ones!
